Wild River's 1st ever Locally Grown Organic Gold Kiwi!

Wild River is thrilled to announce the release of the first and only certified organic California-Grown Gold Kiwi to our local markets! Harvested and sold throughout the fall and winter months, it is a healthy and delicious fresh snack. Each piece of organic fruit began its journey to your family from right here in our local Sacramento Valley along the wild and scenic Yuba River. For more than 5 decades, the 3rd generation family farm has prided themselves on their unique approach to organic farming, partnering with nature to grow their fine kiwifruit on their fertile river-fed soils. Wild River's Kiwi Owl Mascot embodies their commitment to fostering biodiversity throughout the farm by conserving riparian forests, promoting ecosystems of diverse pollinators, and providing homes and habitat for the local barn owl population which in-turn help to manage the pesky pests that threaten their kiwifruit vineyards.

Who is Wild River?

The Wild River name was inspired by our farm’s location alongside the Yuba River which surges out of the rugged Sierra Nevada Mountains into the fertile Sacramento Valley in Northern California. Led by our patriarch, Gordon Noland, we progressively changed our agricultural practices to adapt to the nuances and rhythm of the river.
