Wexford Farms is a family farm located in Pine Township, PA about 20 miles outside of Pittsburgh. It is owned and operated by Paul Mustovic. The operation was established in 1972 consisting of 228 acres owned land and 100+ leased acres.
Approximately 200 acres are cultivated annually. Crops grown include cabbage, collard greens, kale, zucchini, yellow squash, cucumbers, peppers, tomatoes, sweet corn, eggplant, hard squash and pumpkins.
In 2010, a new 3,000 sq foot vegetable wash-line and packing facility was added to an existing 2,400 sq foot structure which contains an 800 sq foot walk-in cooler. The modernized facility allows for optimum food safety standards to be met for the quality vegetables that they grow to sell.
Annual food safety audits are standard practice to insure their commitment to vegetable quality and safety.
Wexford Farms has proudly partnered with The Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank for 30+ years. The Food Bank sends a 24 ft Box truck weekly which we fill with fresh vegetables for our Pittsburgh community neighbors.
