When siblings Laura Hearn and Will Kornegay started their careers in the produce industry, they quickly realized the amount of fruits and vegetables that are discarded because of their odd shapes, sizes or imperfections. Laura and Will made it their mission to find innovative ways to use farmers’ "excess" to create healthy foods for consumers.

In 2017, they co-created GleanPro, a company that uses #2 produce to make protein-rich gummies. In 2019, they formed Ripe Revival to focus on growing organic produce and selling in their CSA program. Laura and Will’s mission is to help solve issues of food waste and hunger one fruit and vegetable at a time. For every purchase of goods, they donate back to make a difference for those who are hungry.
