Pine Valley Farms was established in 1909 with the purchase of the land, however it was not until future generations that brought the farm to where it is now. The farm is currently on the 5th generation of farmers, including brother and sister Kegan and Jenna Wright, along with the whole family raising 120 acres of produce from seedling to harvest.
The farm has expanded to include a greenhouse dedicated to tomatoes from February to December, and they add additional crops based on consumer trends. Not only has the farm diversified in crops grown, but it has also been increasing in total crop acres to where it is now suppling three local retail trucks, local grocery stores and multiple warehouses. They grow: asparagus, chile peppers, corn, cucumbers, eggplant, bell peppers, summer squash, winter squash, strawberries, melons, tomatoes, and garlic. Pine Valley Farms is well-known for their dedication to growing quality produce. The farm takes pride in constantly searching for the best quality practices and experimenting with new research and technology. The focus in the last few years has been in restoring soil health via cover crops and other natural biologicals, to aid in healthier plants and thus, improved yields and superior produce. They take great pride that everything that reaches consumers whether via local market or through distribution chains is of the highest nutrition and quality with outstanding shelf life and flavor profiles.LOCATION
