Parker Farms is a third-generation family produce farming operation, which began on just a few acres in the mid-1970s. Beginning with two acres of vegetables and berries in Clinton, MD, Admiral Edelen Parker and his sons, Rhoderick and Christopher launched their Pick-Your-Own berry operation.

From these beginnings, Parker Farms is proud to say that they are now Mid-Atlantic leaders in year-round fresh produce with growers in Virginia, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania. Parker Farms is headquartered in Oak Grove, Virginia. Oak Grove is also home to the Parker Farms sales office and main packing facility. 

As Parker Farms continues to grow and expand, they remain dedicated to taking important steps which will guarantee viable and practical business solutions. One initiative includes their Oak Grove main packing facility that is now 100% solar-powered.

This facility is where their produce is thoroughly inspected, packed, and then shipped to multiple major retailers and wholesalers. They practice conventional farming and has partnerships with eastern farmers who grow for the Parker Farms label. Parker Farms' predominant grower is Eagle Tree Farms, located less than ten miles from the Parker Farms headquarters. Recently, Parker Farms has begun to partner with a few select local organic farms to sell their product under the Parker Farms Organic logo.
