Flatland Ag, Inc is located in the Inner Banks of North Carolina, known as some of the United States’ most fertile farmland. With over 3,000 miles of coastline, this area’s rich soil and coastal environment is ideal for growing yellow onions.

The Peed family began farming this area four generations ago in 1914. The family created Flatland Ag, Inc to meet the growing demand for their yellow onions.

Jeff Peed currently runs the farm and harvests the onions with the same process each year. The onions are first lifted and wind-rowed from the soil. Then they’re topped, harvested and loaded into trucks for packing. At the packing shed the onions are cured, graded and bagged. From planting to packaging, the entire process is done on-site to maintain peak freshness.
